This article starts the new blog on the andreas-birk.de website. It will most likely evolve into a diverse collection of topics. Through these articles, I aim to share information that I find important and useful.
An example is the first actual content article, a book review of what I consider to be the best introduction to generative artificial intelligence (GenAI). Perhaps others will find it useful, too. I also want to be able to refer to it in a way that explains why I think it is so good.
Later, I will write more articles on AI. I plan to use them to structure my further exploration of the topic. Why not make them publicly available? Doing so could open opportunities for additional discussion and insight.
Similarly, I plan to write about my research on software engineering topics. I will collect literature sources, make raw data available early, present preliminary results, and practice open writing.
Other types of articles will include how-to guides that share potentially useful information; music recommendations that may provide inspiration; and articles on scientific topics that some people may find interesting and insightful.
I expect that writing and publishing more frequently in this way will transform my work into new results and interesting experiences. Let’s see, write, explore, and read …
